Jimmy was part of the DesMoines group, Hennen, Brown, Rautman...  From Mrs Moses in kindergarten to Mt Rainier--so many memories.  On the Pacific Jr High football bus, singing "Arkills and Rosemary" all the way to the games...  Jim was a great guy!  Condolences to Janet and the family.  God Bless Arkie!

Larry was my best friend, along with Tom Dezutter and Rich Schlecht. We called ourselves the Big4, which meant a lifetime of the closest friendships you could imagine. Larry married my cousin Peggy and our Big4 get togethers were family affairs and often included other classmates.  Saying we'll miss him doesn't come close to the loss and grief we feel. Love you Larry.  God Bless!

I didn't keep up with Flavia in high school, but in elementary school we were friends.  She was very fast, and in the 6th grade so was I -- my feet grew after that and it took a while to grow into them.  I would chase her and she would chase me--seems like everytime I turned around she was after me.  Really fun!

I walked Flavia home from school one day, carrying her books and all...  She stopped and then told me she wore a Bra. I said that was nice and we kept walking.  Later that night I asked my mom what a bra was??  She said, "You know honey, a Brassiere."  I was so embarrassed as I did indeed know what a Brassiere was.  Flavia and didn't talk much after that...  RIP friend.

Welcome aboard Dick! Look forward to reuniting, and hope you can turn your dinner plans from maybe to YES! Take care Dick!

Dennis, sorry to see you step away from the US Open Committee, but then learned you actually stepped up as GM for the whole freaking facility. Congratulations! Does that mean we're going golfing at Chambers Bay soon :)
