Sadly we just learned that Nancy Weidenhaft Snow passed June 28, 2018 from Parkinsons according to a letter Jim Cissell received back from Anna Weidenhaft.
Nancy and I had the same school bus stop for Angle Lake Elementary and so became friends in 6th grade. Nancy had a natural singing voice and was a good artist with a vivid imagination. In junior high, we “played” Elvis Presley and Ricky Nelson by standing on our beds rocking our hips and singing to their pop songs; she did a great Elvis imitation of Heartbreak Hotel complete with raised lip. All thru school, she had a keen sense of humor. We laughed a lot.
Nancy was a free spirit, kind and generous. One to break the mold, she danced to her own drummer. I have an image of her spirit singing and dancing high among the spheres.

Our Homecoming Queen, if I recall. Sad.
