Mike Collins

Worked for Hughes Airwest/Republic Airlines (which became part of Northwest Airlines and eventually Delta) for 20 years. Move to Alaska Airlines in 1984, where I held a wide variety of responsibilities over the years, and retired in 2006. Janet and I "snowbirded" for 6 years and, after tiring of the rain, sold our home in Des Moines. We're currently living in the Phoenix area and travel as much as possible.

We raised two beautiful, successful daughters, who each have two children and are very happy that we have two great sons-in-law.

I was able to lead the team that built the Alaska Airline Airport of the future project ( SEA TAC is a good example of it.) My team also built a lot of the Alaska Airline Customer Service Website. They made me look good. Thanks to them.
