Lindy,  You were a happy guy with a ready smile and a velvet bass voice. A truely wonderful singer ( How low could you go?).  My favorite memory of you was at our Senior Assembly.  You accompanied Jerry Childs on the guitar while HE sang the Tymes song "So Much In Love". I think we all expected you to sing!  But that's the kind  of person you were, happy to support a friend.  It shoulda been our Class Song.

I remember Lindy's gorgeous voice.  And there was the time he drove me around  Des Moines in our 57 Chevy before I was old enough for my learner's permit.  RIP Lindy.

I am so saddened to hear of Lindy's passing. Lindy, you were in my best friends circle..we laughed together, loved together, sang a lot together and grew up (somewhat) together. Tonight, I watched a Peter/Paul and Mary review, and all I could think about was our group"Bootie, Sue and Lyndy". We fashioned ourselves after many folk singers of the era. My family felt that you were a part of us (my mom really loved and cared about you and Margi)> I loved you for many reasons, ...I loved singing with you and laughing with you. You have the voice of an angle, so I know I will see you in heaven..will you hold a place in your choir for me? xoBoots
